The BrenduhNet ecosystem is under active development across two product lines.
CarPotato v4.1 firmware: expandable I/O, BLE 5.0, Wi-Fi, LoRa, GPS, scene/macro engine, temperature monitoring, RGBW/PTZ control, Dog Mode, Dead Battery Prevention. Android companion app with full remote control.
Migrating the intra-vehicle module interface from I²C to a CAN 2.0 backbone, standardizing every CarTot module on one controller platform and one bus, and building out the module family - analog input, smart output, RGBW lighting, pan/tilt, acoustic array, and the inclinometer cluster. Cellular and satellite become optional bring-your-own-service add-on modules. Hardening for security and robustness, with an additional engineer on the team.
HomePotato v1.0 launches: Home Fry satellite node management, Zigbee 3.0 integration, ClimateGuard multi-zone temperature safety, cross-device Automation Engine, and cloud-assisted remote access without port forwarding.
Matter Bridge goes live - Apple HomeKit, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa integration across both products. Z-Wave 700/800 support for HomePotato. Cloud relay for non-Matter voice assistant devices.
Public launch and production release. BrenduhNet Controller app v2.0, iOS companion, Matter certification, Thread border router, energy monitoring, commercial fleet management dashboard, and OBD-II vehicle diagnostics.
